Six tips to revitalize your business
Many of you, as entrepreneurs or business owners, fail to achieve the goals they set when they decided to open his business. This may be because they are too busy working “in” their business, not “for” their businesses.
Here are six tips that can revitalize and improve the performance of your organization.
If a business owner is working too many hours “on” your business, what you have is a self-employment, not a business. The formula should be: the business control systems, personnel control systems and the owner controls the staff.
The business owner needs to learn how to manage their time and how to position itself at all.
2) Business is a game
Why do we play? Obviously for fun. If you have a business does not give you fun, I sell it. Close it and seeking employment.
Do not forget that games have rules and take necessary control marker or score (indicators or information management), they will indicate the amount of money you win or lose and if the business is worth.
3) Have a plan
Most owners of small and medium businesses run their businesses like Christopher Columbus … They have a very vague idea of where they are and a very remote to where they want to go; beg, borrow money to start, they put to sea a beautiful morning, and even fall to reach the limit of the Earth or achieve landfall somewhere.
Business owners should take a militarized approach to plan: decide exactly what your goals are, know exactly where to start, dispense their resources so as not to lose their way in the medium travel and seek advice from specialists to help them planning a campaign that includes a measurement and constant monitoring of progress to ensure success.
4) Cash flow
In business, the key to success is cash flow. Regardless of the type of company, business owners need to divide the business process in five areas: Lead Generation, Customer Conversion Rate, Number of Transactions Period, Average Amount of Sales and Profit Margin, regardless of the type company.
When applying, testing and measuring intelligent strategies for these five paths to profits, sales increase and increases dramatically, cash flow and earnings of the business.
5) Stay above the line
Both business owners, executives and employees, must play “above the line”, i.e. becoming aware of their capacity, being responsible for his actions and his team.
Those who play down the line blame others for their mistakes, make excuses and refuse their responsibilities.
Not only is the English word designating team, is also an acronym for Together Everyone Achieves More (Together we can achieve more). But how can a business owner do this? There are six keys to building a sensational team:
- Create and express your vision;
- Keep your computer in common goals so that everyone is on the same page;
- Defines the rules;
- Develops an action plan;
- Requires 100% of involvement and commitment, make it and finally
- Business owners must accept responsibility for risk taking and encourage innovation by examining the errors in search of learning and not blame.
Unless the owner or manager of the business to do something different, your future will be equal to its present and its past.
